Renesas RZ/G2LC SOM

The RZ/G2LC SOM from SolidRun leverages the performance and flexibility of the Renesas G2LC 64-bit microprocessor. It features single/dual Cortex®-A55 cores, a powerful graphics engine, and a variety of communications and video interfaces.  Its small form factor and outstanding performance are ideally suited for use in a wide range of demanding IoT and industrial applications.

The SolidRun RZ/G2LC SOM offers the same (47 x 30 mm) form factor, board-to-board placement, and common-feature pinout as other leading industrial and IoT SOMs from SolidRun – making it an ideal choice in times of supply-chain uncertainty.

Offering single or dual Arm Cortex A55 processor cores, the RZ/G2LC SOM offers an excellent cost/performance ratio when running the latest Linux distributions while taking advantage of its powerful graphical interfaces, yet leaving plenty of resources for advanced IoT and industrial applications.

The SolidRun RZ/G2LC SOM provides a range of power-saving features that are optimized for embedded and IoT applications. The 14nm LPC FinFet production process yields an extremely high performance-to-power ratio, making it extremely well suited for use in both general-purpose and industrial IoT applications.

The SOM is also available as a single-core variant. The RZ/G2UL variant features the same pinout as the RZ/G2LC, making it possible to use the same design – without requiring mechanical, electronic, or software modifications. Contact your SolidRun representative for more information.
