A Hassle-Free Upgrade to Quad-Core Performance for Existing A388-Powered Products
Sharing the form factor and pin layout as SolidRun’s A388 SoM, SolidRun’s new CN9130 SoM provides a simple upgrade path for existing A388-powered products
We’re excited to announce a new line of mini, embedded System-on-Module (SoM) solutions powered by the new OCTEON TX2 CN9130 quad-core SoC from Marvell. Always forward-thinking, SolidRun developed this new SoM with footprint, pin compatibility and shared software resources in mind to provide existing Marvell A388 customers a direct replacement path for upgrading existing products.
Upgrading existing A388-based products with the CN9130 is as simple as replacing a module, no reengineering needed.
Tiny but mighty with a 50 x 35mm footprint, these new network centric SoMs pack a power management subsystem, onboard memory, flash storage, I/O and interconnected subsystems to deliver incredible network capabilities. They feature high-throughput network, storage and security accelerators, and boast robust connectivity with 3x PCIe ports, 1x 10GbE port, 2x USB 3.0, 2x SATA 3.0 and more.
Available in high-performance commercial and fanless industrial variants, this SoM only consumes 11-Watts of power. It supports mainline Linux and OpenWrt operating systems, as well as provides full network virtualization capabilities.
SolidRun’s CN9130 SoM provides the foundation for developers to create next-gen commercial and industrial intelligent networking, security, and edge-computing applications, such as 5G base stations, routers, gateways, edge servers, software-defined networking applications and high-speed network storage.
