HummingBoard i.MX8M IIOT Single Board Computer is based on i.MX8M Plus SoM. The new kits feature SolidRun’s System-on-Module (SOM) implementation of NXP’s high-end i.MX8M Plus processor, with the option to include high dynamic range cameras or without them, depending on your needs.

The SolidRun SoM leverages the powerful image-processing capabilities of the NXP i.MX8M Plus, making it an ideal platform for a wide variety of advanced graphics, imaging, machine vision, video and safety-oriented uses. The SoM can be configured with up to 8GB’s of memory, that along with its quad Cortex-A53 cores and 2TOPs NPU make it ideal for applications requiring artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.

The kit includes SolidRun’s HummingBoard IIOT carrier board, providing developers with a wide range of connectivity options, and enabling simultaneous deployment of LVDS or MIPI-DSI displays.

Now, developers can quickly and easily unlock the power of the i.MX8M platform both for evaluation purposes and for speedy application development.
