SolidRun expands its popular CuBoxTV™ Kodi (XBMC) media player into a variety of quad core configurations, ranging from 1 GB to 4GB, to meet high end user expectations.
SolidRun Ltd. announces CuBoxTV 4GB based on Freescale’s i.MX6 System-on-Chip. CuBoxTV 4GB joins SolidRun’s innovative offering of small, high performance and low power solutions.
CuBoxTV 4GB has a small 2″x2″x2″ footprint and is based on i.MX6 Quad core SoC. The new offering includes the highest end configuration offering in the market including 4GB DDR3 RAM and a variety of connectivity options such as HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, Two USB-2.0 ports, Optical audio out along with an InfraRed receiver. CuBoxTV 4GB supports full HD multi format video decoding at over 100Mbps bit rate, as well as encoding of Full-HD video streams.
