CuBox runs a Linux OS enabling it to support a variety of user environments, most especially the XBMC Media Center which can be easily configured to meet your entertainment requirements.

CuBox includes a powerful 3D Graphics engine and powerful hardware video decoder. It can decode and playback almost all commercially available media content using its multi-format HD decoding engines. For instance, playback of 1080P high definition H.264 content takes place with no significant effort by the main processor.

The media player can be controlled via a simple infra red remote controller (using the built-in IR receiver), smart phone (via WiFi) or via a USB keyboard/mouse.

CuBox can stream and decode 1080p content with desktop class interfaces.  Furthermore, CuBox sets the bar for low carbon footprint computer by using less than 3 Watts power and less than 1 Watt in standby.   The platform is based on Marvell Armada 510 SoC and includes the following key features:
